Distributor Programme for Football Tracking

For organisations that already sell into academies, schools or clubs — and want a measurement product that survives a second season.

Who this programme is for

We work with distributors who sell into football and education, and who are tired of importing hardware that arrives without documentation, support or a way to answer a customer question in their own language. Typical partners are sports-technology resellers, football equipment suppliers, academy service providers and coaching-education businesses adding a data product to an existing catalogue.

What we are not looking for is a catalogue listing. A tracker sold without onboarding becomes a drawer device, and a drawer device does not generate a second order. The partners who do well are the ones who can put a person in front of a coach for thirty minutes and show what the report means.

Markets we are actively working in

Our public pages already exist in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Thai, French, German, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, alongside English. That reflects where enquiries come from rather than a claim of exclusivity anywhere. A partner who can support one of those language markets has an obvious head start, because the content, the terminology and the contact route already exist.

Territories outside those markets are equally open. What matters is whether you can support the buyers you sell to: installation questions, staff training, and a first line of response when a sensor behaves unexpectedly.

What a partner receives

Support is weighted towards the first ninety days, when most resellers either gain a reference customer or lose one.

🧪

Demo and evaluation units

Sample orders from 10 units so your team can demonstrate on a pitch rather than in a meeting room.

🎓

Technical onboarding

A walkthrough of the sensor, the platform and the reports, so your staff can answer coaching questions without escalating.

📣

Marketing and sales assets

Product imagery, specification sheets and the existing guide content, adaptable to your market.

🌐

Localised page support

Where a language page already exists, you can point buyers at it; where it does not, we discuss what is needed.

🔧

Second-line support

A named contact for cases your team cannot resolve, covering hardware behaviour, platform access and data export.

Territory discussion

Exclusivity is considered case by case against committed volume and demonstrated support capability.

Territory and exclusivity, honestly

Exclusivity is the first thing most distributors ask for and the last thing that should be granted. We will discuss it, but only against a committed volume, a support plan and a defined territory — not as a courtesy at the first meeting. An exclusive agreement given to a partner who cannot service it damages the market for everyone, including the partner.

The practical alternative is a staged arrangement: a non-exclusive start with a volume target, a review after the first season, and exclusivity as a documented next step if the numbers and the support record justify it. That structure protects both sides and is easier to defend internally when your own management asks why the territory is worth the commitment.

Application process

  1. Introduction. Tell us your company, the markets you cover, the buyers you already sell to, and which product in your catalogue the tracker would sit beside.
  2. Fit call. A short conversation about volumes, support capability and whether OEM branding is part of the plan. Most mismatches surface here, which is the point.
  3. Sample evaluation. From 10 units. We would rather you test the product against your own customers' questions before signing anything.
  4. Commercial proposal. Territory, tier structure, support commitments and review points, in writing.
  5. Onboarding. Platform accounts, staff training, marketing assets and your named support contact.
  6. First-season review. Volume, customer feedback and what needs to change in the configuration or the support model.

What we ask of partners

Three commitments, none of them exotic. Demonstrate the product: keep at least one kit available for demos and use it on a pitch, not in a slide. Support the first line: answer basic questions about pairing, charging and report reading before escalating. Report honestly: tell us when a customer is unhappy, because a pattern across three customers is a product problem we can fix, while three isolated complaints are three lost references.

In return you get a product whose data layer is genuinely open — raw IMU export, an open API and private deployment — which is the argument that wins against closed platforms in a procurement conversation. More on the product itself is on the TROPS-1 page, and the solutions overview shows how it is positioned by buyer type.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer exclusivity in a territory?

Exclusivity is discussed case by case, against committed volume, a defined territory and a demonstrated support plan. Most partnerships start non-exclusive with a volume target and a review after the first season, with exclusivity as a documented next step if the numbers justify it.

Can we sell under our own brand as a distributor?

Yes. White-label hardware, custom packaging and white-label platform branding are available through the same OEM/ODM route, with sample orders from 10 units and OEM production orders from 100 units.

What support do we get in the first months?

Demo and evaluation units, technical onboarding for your staff, marketing and specification assets, and a named second-line contact for cases your team cannot resolve. The emphasis is on the first ninety days, when a reseller either gains a reference customer or loses one.

Do we need technical staff to sell this?

No, but you need someone who can demonstrate the product and read a session report. The platform is designed for coaches rather than analysts; the technical depth is optional and only matters if your customers ask about API access, raw data export or private deployment.
