TROPS-1 — 25 g Ankle IMU Tracker (Academy Edition)

The TROPS-1 is the academy edition of our football tracking hardware: a 25 g sensor worn at the ankle, built around a 9-axis IMU with on-board edge computing. It captures three-dimensional motion of the foot throughout a session — no cameras, no manual logging, no fixed installation.

It is a measurement device first. The data it produces belongs to the organisation that bought it: raw IMU streams can be exported, the platform exposes an API, and the system can be deployed privately rather than only in a vendor cloud. That matters to academies and to OEM partners who already run their own analysis stack.

What it measures

• Ball contacts and touches, including left/right distribution
• Passing and shooting actions with strike characteristics
• Sprints, accelerations and decelerations, top speed and distance
• Explosive efforts and work-rate across a session
• Conditioning and training load, tracked over weeks and months
